Braves Win World Series behind 7-0 win in game 6

The Atlanta Braves beat the Houston Astros 7-0 to win the 2021 World Series. 

Max Fried got the start and the win for the Braves, firing 6 innings, giving up four hits, while striking out six batters. 

Luis Garcia got the loss for the Astros, firing 2.2 innings, giving up two hits, three earned runs, while walking one and striking out three batters. 

In the top of the 3rd, Jorge Soler hit a three run homerun to make it 3-0 Braves. In the top of the 5th, Dansby Swanson hit a two run homerun to make it 5-0 Braves.

In the same inning, Freddie Freeman hit an RBI double to left field to make it 6-0 Braves. In the top of the 7th, Freddie Freeman hit a solo homerun to extend Atlantas lead to 7-0. 

Jorge Soler was awarded the WIllie Mays World Series MVP. 

The Atlanta Braves had 7 hits, while the Houston Astros had 6 hits. 

This is the Braves first world series win since 1995.
