Dodgers take game 5 win against the Braves to stay alive in NLCS.

Final Score: 11-2

The LA Dodgers beat the Atlanta Braves 11-2. 

Evan Philips got the win for the Dodgers, firing 1.1 innings, while striking out three batters. This is Phillips 1st win of the postseason. 

Max Fried got the start and the loss for the Braves, firing 4.2 innings, giving up eight hits, five earned runs, while walking two and striking out three batters. 

Freddie Freeman got Atlanta's only runs in the top of the 1st inning with a two run homerun to make it 2-0 Atlanta. 

In the top of the 2nd inning, AJ Pollock hit a solo homerun to make it a 2-1 game.

Chris Taylor hit a two run homerun to give the Dodgers a 3-2 lead. In the bottom of the 3rd, Chris Taylor hit an RBI single to make it 4-2. Chris Taylor again in the bottom of the 5th, hit anohter homerun, this time a two run homerun to make it 6-2.

In the bottom of the 7th, Chris Taylor hit his third homerun in as many at bats, with a solo homerun to make it 7-2 Dodgers. 

In the bottom of the 8th, Trea Turner hit an RBI single to make it 8-2. AJ Pollock hit a three run homerun to put the nail in the coffin at 11-2. 

That's how this game would end, as the LA Dodgers beat the Atlanta Braves 11-2 to stay alive in the NLCS. 

These two teams will play each other again tomorrow evening. That game will start at 5:08pm EST.
