The respect for this team continues to grow with each game. The Toronto Raptors came away with an impressive 119-114 win over the Philadelphia 76ers. Considering that Fred VanVleet and OG Anunoby were out, for Toronto to win this game was truly an odds-defying feat. And it was in major part thanks due to Pascal Siakam.

It was an honourable night at Scotiabank Arena as Danny Green finally received his championship ring from the Raptors' 2019 title run. It was a great moment and allowed fans to bask in the sweet memory of winning it all just three years ago.

One of, if not his best performance of the season, Siakam carried the offensive load for Toronto. After being down as much as 15 points in the first half, the Raptors were able to bounce back and did so in an emphatic way. Defense was their main area of success and through their intensity, they were able to generate opportunities on the offensive side of the court.

Siakam finished with yet another All-NBA calibre performance with 37 points, 12 assists, and 11 rebounds. He was everywhere for Toronto including stellar defensive stops on potential MVP Joel Embiid. Gary Trent Jr. had another great performance with 30 points of his own.

James Harden was relatively a no-show as the Toronto defense held him at bay with only 13 points on 25 percent shooting from the field. The Raptors just played an overall better game than the Sixers. Despite taking seven less free throws than Philly, the Raptors made eight more shots and that proved to be the separation needed for Toronto to prevail.

Toronto now improves to 47-33 on the season with only two games remaining. Their next game will be against the Houston Rockets tomorrow at 7:30 PM ET.
