It's Wednesday you know what that means AEW Dynamite is live from the Fifth Third Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio. Tonight's show is the fallout from All Out from Sunday.


Malakai Black vs. Dustin Rhodes


The first match of the show is a slobber-knocker as both Black and Rhodes waste no time throwing punches. The crowd was loud from the get-go. Rhodes was in control of Black for a bit until they went to the floor. Dustin went to powerbomb Black through the timekeeper's table, but Black countered it and put Rhodes through the table. Back in the ring, Black took the padding off the turnbuckle. Malakai drove his knee into the midsection of Rhodes. Black put Dustin in a couple of submissions holds, but Rhodes made it to the ropes. The crowd chanted for both guys it was 50/50. Black began to target Dustin’s leg; he went to Irish whip him into the corner but Rhodes fell.


Rhodes fights back and delivers a power slam, he starts beating up Black in the corner. Malakai would escape the attack and kick the back of Rhodes’s leg. Black followed up his attack with a high knee strike. Black went under the ring and grabbed Cody Rhodes's boot from the match he and Cody had.


Black used the boot to taunt Dustin, and this angered him. Rhodes fought back and hit a Canadian Destroyer. The crowd chanted “you still got it” to Rhodes. Black would pull Dustin into the exposed turnbuckle and hit the spinning heel kick to pick up the win. Rhodes’s mouth was bleeding. This was a solid match to start the show and it showed that Dustin Rhodes can still wrestler.


Winner: Malakai Black


Lucha Bros have a video package, and they celebrate their Tag Team Title victory from Sunday.


Miro and Eddie Kingston have a video package, Kingston calls out Miro for his cheap win. He says that God rains on the just and the unjust. Miro says he had ice in his balls and that he will break Kingston’s bones and soul


CM Punk in-ring promo


CM Punk heads to the ring to a loud ovation from the crowd. Punk gets on the mic and hypes up the crowd. Punk wastes no time and thanks Darby Allin, Sting, and the crowd from his match on Sunday. The crowd tells Punk that he still has it. Punk puts over tonight’s main event between Minoru Suzuki and Cincinnati’s own Jon Moxley. Punk acknowledges Brian Pillman’s mom who was in the crowd. Punk brings up the debut of Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole, and Ruby Soho. Punk says he texted his wife after, and she asked what’s next? Punk asks the crowd who he should wrestle next, he gets interrupted by Taz from the commentary desk. Taz tells Punk to keep Team Taz out of his mouth, Punk said he never mentioned them. Taz responds by saying Punk mentioned them in his interviews. Punk makes it easy for Taz and says he will take on him, Powerhouse Hobbs, Hook and Ricky Starks. He finishes the promo by saying “Beat me if you can, survive if I let you”.


Santana and Ortiz cut a promo backstage saying they’re done with FTR and now they will focus on the rest of the tag team division.


Tony Schiavone interviews Ruby Soho backstage. Soho says she doesn’t want people to think she was lucky. In comes Britt Baker with Rebel and Jamie Hayter. Britt asks why should they care. Ruby talks about her history with Baker. Baker says that Ruby should go back to catering where she has been for the last four years. Ruby tells Tony that she knows they’re close and that’s his girl but she will whoop her butt.


Dante Martin vs. Powerhouse Hobbs with Hook


Dante tries to get an early attack on Hobbs, but he gets taken down hard by the big man. Martin uses his quickness on Hobbs and kicks him out of the ring. Martin goes for a dive, but Hobbs catches him and throws him against the ring post. Hobbs tosses Dante into the barricade twice. Hobbs shows off why he is a powerhouse and throws Martin back into the ring through the second rope. Back in the ring, the beatdown on Martin continues as Hobbs hits him with a suplex. Hobbs puts Marin in a bear hug and slams him to the mat. The crowd tries to encourage Marin to get back into the match, Hobbs mocks them with CM Punk taunts as he continues his offence.


Dante fights back and hits a massive missile dropkick. Martin gets the big man to the outside, he goes for a dive but Hook gets in his way. This wouldn’t stop Dante and he jumped over Hook to land on Hobbs with a dive. Back in the ring, Martin builds some steam that gets stopped as Hobbs his a big powerbomb to win the match, Hobbs ends Dante Matin’s five-game winning streak.


Winner: Powerhouse Hobbs


Dan Lambert is in a press box with Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page. Lambert once again trashes AEW and says Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page are real men in wrestling. He says that if there are tough guys in the back and think they can silence them come try it before they burn AEW to the ground.


Matt Hardy cuts a promo on Orange Cassidy and says he will cut his hair. We cut to Orange Cassidy’s response and he says whatever.


MJF in-ring promo


MJF and Wardlow come to the ring, MJF says he beat Jericho clean on Sunday. He says that there was bias and that’s why the match was restarted. MJF puts down the city of Cincinnati and calls it the biggest dumpster fire in the world. He continues to bash the city and says if the crowd doesn’t like it some fans can jump the barricade so he can beat them up. MJF turns to Brian Pillman’s mother and puts her down as well as Pillman’s daughter. MJF gets interrupted by Brian Pillman Jr. Pillman Jr says Cincinnati breeds badasses and names of his father and Jon Moxley. MJF trashes Pillman Jr’s mother. He heads to the ring but gets stopped by Wardlow. MJF tells Wardlow to stand in the corner and he insults him this angers Wardlow. MJF continues to talk trash until Pillman attacks him, Wardlow pulls him off and hits a German suplex. Griff Garrison comes to the aid of his partner only to get taken down by Wardlow and punched in the face by MJF with his ring. It looks like the attack will continue but Pillman stops it and the crowd chants “You tapped out” to MJF. MJF and Wardlow leave the ring ending the segment.


Jox Moxley cuts a promo, he welcomes Minoru Suzuki to the jungle.


Ruby Soho vs. Jamie Hayter with Britt Baker & Rebel


Ruby Soho makes her Dynamite debut. Hayter gets in control early, and she manhandles Soho. The match goes to the outside where she throws Ruby around. Hayter wasn’t allowing Soho to get any offence in as she beat her up in the corner. Ruby was hurting but she fought back taking Jamie face-first into the corner, she followed up with a lot of kicks and a DDT. Soho took Hayter to the mat.


Momentum swung back and forth as Hayter hit a neck breaker and backbreaker. Ruby got up and hit her finisher to win the match. After the bell, Britt Baker attacked Ruby. Riho tried to save Soho but she got beat down. Britt Baker was about to stomp Ruby on the Women’s Championship until Kris Statlander ran to the ring with a chair. Statlander, Riho, and Soho stood in the ring as the heels walked off.


Winner: Ruby Soho


The Pinnacle with Tully Blanchard & Wardlow vs. The Dark Order (John Silver, Stu Grayson & Evil Uno)


John Silver and Shawn Spears start the match, they tie up and Spears takes him to the mat. Silver gets up and powerslams Spears, he follows up with a shoulder tackle. Stu Grayson is tagged in and he gets beat up for a second but fights back and tags in Evil Uno. Grayson and Uno team up on Spears hitting a backbreaker. Both teams make tags shortly after as John Silver and Dax Hardwood come into the match. Silver hits Hardwood with a suplex. Cash Wheeler takes out Uno and Grayson the apron so John Silver can’t make a tag, this doesn’t stop him, and he continues his offence. As Silver ran across the ropes, he and Evil Uno hit heads. Moments later The Pinnacle would hit a Death Valley driver on Silver to pick up the win. After the match, The Dark Order looked like they were imploding. Anna Jay and Tay Conti come down to the stage but they don’t intervene


Winner: The Pinnacle


Backstage Tully Blanchard is interviewed he asks Tony Khan for a match next week between Shawn Spears and Darby Allin. Blanchard says he and Sting will cross-path one more time when the time comes.


The Varsity Blonds are in the trainer's office. Brian Pillman Jr. says he doesn’t have an update and his partner and says he spoke to Tony Khan, he says he will face MJF on September 22nd at Arthur Ashe Stadium. The Acclaimed show-up Max Caster gives Pillman roses and tells him they will have a match this Friday on Rampage.


The Elite in-ring interview with Tony Schiavone 


Don Callis takes the mic off Tony Schiavone, he says at Kenny Omega showed why he was the best wrestler in the world at All Out. Callis also says that The Young Bucks Tag Team Championships were stolen. Nick Jackson gets on the mic next and introduces Adam Cole to the ring. Adam Cole gets on the mic and asks the crowd if they are ready for Storytime. Before that Cole turns his focus to Tony Schiavone and says if he looks at his girlfriend Britt Baker the wrong way, he will slap him silly. Cole calls Tony a nerd and orders him to leave the ring. Cole tells his story and says AEW is the best wrestling company in the world. He says he is new to AEW, but he has been in The Elite for a long time. Cole says he is with the best and that The Young Bucks are the greatest tag team of all time. Cole praises Kenny Omega. He says The Elite is complete and next week he will make his in-ring debut.


Kenny Omega talks next and says he hates interruptions. Omega gets interrupted again by Bryan Danielson. Kenny says he needs to talk to Bryan alone in the ring. Kenny says Danielson is the guy he wanted to talk to. Bryan grabs the mic out of Kenny’s hand and asks the crowd if they want to see a match between the two. Bryan says Omega is scared and that is better than him and he isn’t on his level. This angers Kenny and he tries to attack Bryan but gets put in the LeBell Lock until The Elite attack Bryan. Jurassic Express, Christian Cage and Frankie Kazarian fight off the Elite. Brandon Cutler is left in the ring and Daniel hits him with the running knee. 


Minoru Suzuki vs. Jon Moxley


The crowd was loud for the hometown boy Jon Moxley. The bell rang and both guys got face-to-face, they exchanged punches and kicks. Moxley rocked Suzuki with a punch. Suzuki fought back and put Moxley in an armbar, the match went to the outside where Suzuki attacked his arm. Back in the ring, Suzuki tried putting Moxley in a kumara lock. Moxley got out of it, but Suzuki stayed in control until he tried to charge at Moxley only for him to come back with a clothesline.


Moxley fought back, and hit Suzuki’s face, Suzuki came back and bit his. Both guys traded headbutts knocking each other down. The crowd was loving this match chanting “This is awesome”. Suzuki put Moxley in a chokehold and tried to go for a piledriver, but it was countered Moxley would hit the Paradigm Shift, but Suzuki kicked out at one. Suzuki was busted open from his eye. Moxley would hit another Paradigm Shift, he would win the match in this hard-hitting affair.


Winner: Jon Moxley


The show ends with Moxley celebrating in the crowd. AEW put on back-to-back fantastic shows. What an amazing time to be a wrestling fan.
