AEW, NJPW, CMLL, and STARDOM came together for another spectacular Forbidden Door at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. The event featured championship matches, cross-promotional dream bouts, and the finals of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, which determined the challengers for AEW All In: London. 

Main Event

Will Ospreay defeated Swerve Strickland in a brutal, nearly one-hour battle to win the Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. Both men pushed each other to the limit in one of the year’s best matches before Ospreay finally secured the victory, earning an AEW World Championship match at All In in London. 

Key Results

Mercedes Moné defeated Maya World to win the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, earning an AEW Women’s World Championship opportunity at All In. 

Team Briscoe defeated Team MJF in the brutal Death’s Door Steel Cage Match, giving Mark Briscoe a future AEW World Championship match. 

Kenny Omega defeated Zack Sabre Jr. in a technical wrestling masterpiece that lived up to its enormous expectations

Thekla retained the AEW Women’s World Championship against STARDOM’s Starlight Kid after a hard-fought title defense. 

Shota Umino retained the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship by defeating PAC. After the match, Hiroshi Tanahashi made a surprise appearance to stop Jon Moxley from attacking Umino. 

Copeland & Christian Cage retained the AEW World Tag Team Championship over The Dogs, thanks in part to the show

The Young Bucks opened the show with a victory in an exciting cross-promotional three-way tag team match featuring CMLL’s Sky Team and NJPW’s 

Biggest Moments

The return of Jay White was one of the night’s biggest surprises, while Hiroshi Tanahashi’s appearance delighted NJPW fans. The victories by Will Ospreay and Mercedes Moné officially set the marquee championship matches for AEW All In: London later this summer.
