The road to SummerSlam intensified on Monday Night Raw from Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, with The Bloodline once again standing tall while several major matches were confirmed for WWE’s biggest event of the summer.
The show opened with Seth Rollins, still focused on his upcoming World Heavyweight Championship showdown with Roman Reigns. Rollins was interrupted by Solo Sikoa, who surprisingly offered to stand in Rollins’ corner at SummerSlam. The unexpected proposal added another layer of intrigue to the ongoing Bloodline saga, leaving Rollins with a difficult decision. .
In the ring, The Vision (Bron Breakker & Austin Theory) defeated Je’Von Evans and Dragon Lee after interference from Logan Paul helped set up Breakker’s Spear for the victory.
Oba Femi continued his dominant run by defeating JD McDonagh with the Fall From Grace. Later, Paul Heyman continued to hype Femi’s upcoming Hell in a Cell clash with Brock Lesnar, making their collision at SummerSlam feel even bigger.
In tag team action, Intercontinental Champion Penta teamed with Chad Gable to defeat Rusev and Ethan Page when Gable forced Rusev to submit with the Grapevine Ankle Lock.
Joe Hendry picked up a victory over Dominik Mysterio after outside involvement from Danhausen and IYO SKY. The rivalry escalated further, and WWE later made it official: Danhausen vs. Dominik Mysterio will take place at SummerSlam.
The main event featured LA Knight battling Jacob Fatu. After a hard-fought contest, Fatu scored the victory with his Mighty Moonsault. The celebration didn’t last long before Bloodline chaos erupted, with Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, Jimmy Uso, and others becoming involved. By night’s end, The Bloodline stood tall, sending a powerful message ahead of SummerSlam.
