September 27, 2026 — Week 17 delivered four games packed with playoff implications, including a dramatic overtime finish in Edmonton and a huge performance from BC quarterback Nathan Rourke.
Toronto Argonauts 30, Winnipeg Blue Bombers 28
The Toronto Argonauts continued their strong stretch with a thrilling road victory over Winnipeg.
Chad Kelly threw for 290 yards and two touchdowns, while Damonte Coxie exploded for seven catches, 149 yards and a touchdown. Tyler Kahmann also caught a TD as Toronto improved to 9–6.
The Bombers received a huge contribution from Brady Oliveira, but Toronto made enough plays down the stretch to escape Winnipeg with the victory.

Nathan Rourke delivered one of the week’s biggest performances, throwing four touchdown passes as BC defeated Saskatchewan.
Rourke threw touchdown passes in each quarter, including two to Keon Hatcher Sr. in the first half and another to Jevon Cottoy in the third quarter.
The victory was BC’s seventh in its last eight games and moved the Lions ahead of Saskatchewan in the West Division standings.

Calgary Stampeders 45, Ottawa REDBLACKS 31
Calgary’s offence erupted for 520 net yards in a convincing victory over Ottawa.
Quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. completed 24 of 30 passes for 422 yards and three touchdowns without an interception. Three Calgary receivers surpassed 100 yards: Jalen Philpot (127), Tevin Jones (122) and Clark Barnes (109).
Deonta McMahon scored twice, while Calgary’s explosive plays repeatedly created opportunities for the offence.
The defeat dropped Ottawa to 0–14, tying the 1994 Shreveport Pirates for the worst start in CFL history.

Edmonton Elks 37, Hamilton Tiger-Cats 35 — OT
The week’s most dramatic game came at Commonwealth Stadium.
The Edmonton Elks defeated Hamilton 37–35 in overtime after the game required a rare two-point shootout.
The headline belonged to kicker Vincent Blanchard, who made a CFL-record nine field goals. After both teams traded kicks in overtime, Hamilton failed to convert its first two-point attempt. Edmonton then turned to Cody Fajardo, who connected with Joshua Cephus for the game-winning two-point conversion.
The loss officially eliminated Hamilton from playoff contention and confirmed the Eastern Division crossover.
