This game was more lopsided than the final score suggests but the Dallas Mavericks force a Game 5 with a huge 119-109 victory over the Golden State Warriors. Luka Doncic led the Mavs to a huge win in a game where they led by as much as 29 points. Although there was fear in the air that there may be a comeback, Dallas held on to live another day.

For the first three quarters, everything went the Mavericks' way. Reggie Bullock who went 0-10 in Game 3, responded with 18 points on 6-10 shooting from three. That was not just a singularity with Bullock, as everyone in blue and white was scorching hot from three.

As a team, the Mavs shot 20-43 from beyond the arc. The Warriors' offensive woes didn't help as they couldn't defend on the other end. The starters for Golden State didn't look nearly as good as they did in Game 3. Klay Thompson only finished with 12 points and Andrew Wiggins finished with just 13 points, coming off his 27-point performance.

Jordan Poole led the team in scoring with 23 points but wasn't enough to seal the deal. Especially considering Luka Doncic nearly had a triple-double with 30 points, 14 rebounds, and nine assists. However, despite being up 29 points, the Warriors nearly came back and won the game.

It seemed the game was surely over with both teams putting their bench players into the game. But the Warriors started to go on a run and slowly crept back into the game. Before the Mavericks knew it, the lead was just eight points. Both teams brought their starters in shortly after and thanks to some Luka Magic, Dallas prevailed in the end.

The Mavericks didn't go down easily and will go to the Chase Center for a chance to keep the series alive on Thursday at 9 PM ET.
