Toronto picks up their 12th straight win!

There was a lot on the players minds before and all throughout this game. Toronto was hoping to break their franchise record with 11 straight wins.  Not to mention all the rumours of the God Almighty Masai Ujiri possibly heading to New York. Toronto did have a relatively "easy" stretch of game the past week but let's be real nowadays not every game is that simple to win.

Ibaka would win the tip and VanVleet would bring the rock up the court. Although Indiana would go on a 6-2 run , it wouldn't take Lowry long to go to work. What was most exciting in the first quarter was when Patrck McCaw drained a three all given from Lowry to extend the Raps lead to 20-13. I love McCaw and hope Nurse continues to play him with the starters.

Terrence Davis who had a game high 31 pts last game against the Bulls on Sunday would nail a corner three ball (right after McCaw’s bucket) in front of the Pacers bench contributing to his total 11 pts & 3 reb. Give this man the ball and watch him shine. Davis was undrafted this season but continuously shows why he is not only suitable for the Rising Stars game but maybe next year, an All-Star.

This game wasn’t only full of Raptor highlights. Afterall Indiana, did only lose by one point. Pacers like Malcolm Brogdon who has been having an incredible season since leaving the Bucks last season contributed huge on both ends of the court. Brogdon had a team high 24 pts, 6 ast & 6 reb. Aaron Holiday would throw it up to his broher Juston Holiday who would slam down the alley-oop for a combined 27 pts.

You may be asking where is Victor Olidipo? He was there and he did put up 13 pts. If he were to hit a few more jumpers, Indiana may have won their 32nd game of the season. At one point, Toronto had a 14 pt lead.

Both teams had five players in double digits but only one team had two players with 30+ points. Serge Ibaka and Kyle Lowry. My question is why hasn't Serge Ibaka been an All-Star yet? He is consistant and put up steady numbers every game. He put up

Fun Fact: Serge Ibaka is the only player ever with 500 3-pointers & 1,500 blocks. EVER!

Justin Holiday tied the game at 106 with just under five minutes to play. then Brogdon would drain a three ball and give Indiana a 116-105 lead with 2:36 to play. Which mean if Indiana finished the game with 118 pts, that Toronto went on a 14-2 run to end the game. Siakam would steal the ball at halfcourt to bring the ball the other way driving through the defence and getting the bucket. First time All-Star Pascal Siakam ended with 25 pts & 9 reb.

Fast forward to the last thirty seconds and there you will see Serge Ibaka hit a contested 3-pointer which would be all they need to bring home the vidtory. Raptors win! Raptors win!

Toronto will face the Pacers again on Friday but this time in their house, Bankers Life Fieldhouse with tip off is at 8:00pm. Can they make it 13 in a row? Let’s see!

Toronto 119-118 Indiana
