Bills Fall 14-10 to the Patriots in Windy Battle
The Patriots and Bills finished a game of professional football that looked like it was happening with apocalyptic weather.
The wind and cold led the Patriots to rely nearly exclusively on their ground game, finishing with just 3 passing attempts from rookie Mac Jones. The visitors totalled 222 yards rushing, thanks largely to Damien Harris' 111.
Meanwhile, Buffalo still threw the ball 30 times (with just 15 completions) and only mustered 99 rushing yards. They did manage to score through the air though, on a 14-yard touchdown play for Gabriel Davis.
The Bills only other points came on a 35-yard Tyler Bass field goal in the third quarter.
Meanwhile, the Pats scored their only touchdown of the game on a 64-yard run by Damien Harris in the first. Nick Folk added a 41-yard field goal in the second and a 34-yarder in the fourth.
The Patriots now sit atop the AFC at 9-4 while Buffalo is second in the AFC East division at 7-5.
The Bills next game will see them travel to Tampa Bay to take on the Buccaneers on the 12th while New England has Week 14 off before visiting Indianapolis on the 18th.
