Game Preview: Bruins host the Maple Leafs

The Toronto Maple Leafs (5-3-1) are back on the road tonight when they take on the Boston Bruins (8-0-1)

Toronto is coming off a 4-1 loss Tuesday night to the LA Kings. 

William Nylander is coming into the game on a nine-game point streak. He has six goals and seven assists. Nylander has the longest season-opening point streak in Maple Leafs history.

Toronto and Boston will be the first meeting of the season. The Bruins won three out of the four meetings last season.

Ilya Samsonov is the confirmed starter for the Maple Leafs, while Jeremy Swayman is the expected starter for Boston.

The puck drop is at 7:30 p.m. on Sportsnet Ontario.
