The Toronto Maple Leafs (9-5-2) will close out the NHL Global Series this morning when they take on the Minnesota Wild (5-8-3).

Toronto and Minnesota will close out their season series. Toronto won the first meeting at home on October 14th, 7-4. Auston Matthews picked up a hat trick in that game.

Toronto played Friday afternoon against the Detroit Red Wings, where they erased a two-goal deficit to come back and win 3-2. William Nylander led the charge, getting one goal and two assists, extending his point streak to 16. He will look to keep it going to 17.

Tyler Bertuzzi will look to stay hot as he has picked up five points in three out of his last four games.

John Tavares has a point streak of his own, as he has picked up seven points in his last four games. Tavares quietly has 19 points in 16 games this season.

The Leafs will once again be without defenseman John Klingberg. He is nursing a hip injury.

The Minnesota Wild are coming off a 2-1 shootout loss to the Ottawa Senators on Saturday.

Joseph Woll and Marc-Andre Fleury are the expected starters in the net.

The game will be at 8:00 a.m. on Sportsnet.
