Toronto Marlies Fall To Abbotsford Canucks In First Half Of Back-To-Back

The Toronto Marlies fell 4-0 to the Abbotsford Canucks on Tuesday night. The Canucks now lead the season series 2-1.
In the first period, it was the home team that got on the board first with a goal from Nils Höglander just over halfway through the frame. The Canucks would take a 1-0 lead into the first intermission.
In the second period, both teams exchanged chances, but the score remained 1-0 after 40 minutes of play.
In the final frame, the home side continued to push. Nils Höglander, Phil Di Giuseppe, and Justin Dowling all scored within three minutes of each other near the end of the period to secure a 4-0 victory for the Canucks.
The two teams meet again on Wednesday night for the second half of a back-to-back. Puck drop is at 10:00pm EST on AHLTV.
