2K releases Gameplay trailer for WWE 2K23
2K Games has released the gameplay trailer for WWE 2K23. In the trailer, we see that they will include WarGames. It will be the first time this match type will be in a WWE game. You can play 3v3 or 4v4 formats. In the trailer, we see Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens, The Usos and Sheamus in the match.
We got the first showcase trailer for the game last week when it revealed it would cover John Cena’s 20-year career. Players will control opponents with who Cena has had matches within his career, such as The Rock, The Undertaker, Kurt Angle and more.
Celebrities that are in the trailer were Logan Paul and Bad Bunny, who will be available for pre-order. In the trailer, you see Bad Bunny hitting a Canadian Destroyer like he did when he made his in-ring debut at Wrestlemania 37 in 2021.
This game will mark the return of Cody Rhodes in a WWE game since 2017 when he was under the name Stardust. 2K released Cody's entrance yesterday. Rhodes will also be in the AEW Fight Forever game when that gets released later this year.
As we get closer to the release of WWE 2K23, expect more news to come out closer to the launch. Roman Reigns will be the first 99-overall wrestler in a 2K game since they took over back in 2013 from THQ. WWE 2K23 will be released on March 17th, but you can get early access to the game on March 14th if you get the John Cena Deluxe or Icon editions.
