tonight at Cicero Stadium in the Chicagoland area the biggest event of the Impact Wrestling year Bound for Glory will reset the Impact Wrestling status quo with a packed card of matches. The biggest matches are a pair of World Championship matches that feature challengers who never lost the title in the ring.

Both Mickie James and Josh Alexander both gave up their Impact Championships earlier this year in April before Slammiversary. Their injuries set up the current World Championship pictures in Impact and lead to tonight's matches against Knockouts Champion Trinity and Impact World Champion Alex Shelley. Prior to their injries both James and Alexander were on great runs with James on the "Last Rodeo" and Alexander putting together the longest reign as an Impact Champion.

I think we'll see a return of the Walking Weapon to the Championship as Alexander and Shelley will face off in a match that will highlight a pair of the highest regared Pro Wrestlers in the World by fellow Pro Wrestlers. Both have been Tag Team Champions multiple times with Alexander in the North with Ethan Page and Shelley in the Motor City Machine Guns with Chris Sabin, they should have a great match as evenly matched competitors with Alexander coming out with his Championship back.

On the Women's side, James coming back to face Trinty seems to be going the other way as the former Naomi from the WWE has the momentum going to hold the Knockouts title in a match that highlights one of the best Women's divisions going today.

The Knockouts division features both a high level championship battle and a strong team fighting for the title with former Champions Deonna Purrazzo, Jordynne Grace and Tasha Steelz all in the mix and Gisele Shaw in line for a title reign herself. They put on consistently great matches that often are the highlights of the show. This match should do that as well while setting up the next title challenge in the match.

I see Trinity holding on to the title and a challenge coming from Shaw backed by her team of Savannah Evans and Jai Vidal.

Besides the two title matches make sure to watch what could be a Match of the Year Winner as Will Ospreay continues his tour of promotions when he visits from New Japan Pro Wrestling and faces off against Speedball Mike Bailey.

Ospreay is quite possibly the best young all around Pro Wrestler in the world and is coming off a starring match against Kenny Omega at AEW's Forbidden Door event, the leader of the United Empire has come a long way from his early career as the Aerial Assassin to someone who can wrestle any style and anyone. Bailey meanwhile is probably the most underrated Pro Wrestler going today, he is capable of a great match with anyone. Make sure to watch this match and see what Pro Wrestling can be.

Impact Wrestling is going on the big stage tonight and they will show that they deserve the spot. The rest of the card features a great mix of upcoming talent as well that will show Impact is a promotion that you should invest in.

Bound for Glory is available on Fite Pay-Per-View tonight with the Kickoff show on YouTube starting at 7:30 PM EST.
