Survivor Series: War Games Recap

Boasting a small lineup of only 5 matches, Survivor Series: War Games had many doubting that the final main roster premium live event of the year would deliver.   

Nevertheless, the show still dealt viewers some major upsets and surprises, with one of the most shocking of the night being Sami Zayn low-blowing Kevin Owens to prove his loyalty to The Bloodline and allow Jey Uso to get the final pin to win.

AJ Styles defeats Finn Balor

Ronda Rousey defeats Shotzi

Austin Theory defeats Bobby Lashley and Seth Rollins

The Bloodline defeats The Brawlin Brutes, Drew McIntrye, and Kevin Owens

The next and final WWE premium live event of 2022 is NXT: Deadline on December 10th.  As for the main roster, we’ll have to wait until January 28, 2023 for the Royal Rumble.

It will be quite interesting to see how the outcomes of these matches play out into future feuds, particularly with Bianca Belair.  It was hardly surprising that her team won, especially with the much-anticipated return of Becky Lynch, but who will we see Bianca face next as the Raw Women’s Champion?  We’ll soon find out!
