Celtics make statement in game one win over Cavaliers

The Boston Celtics have picked up right where they left off, defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers 120-95 in Boston on Tuesday night.

Tonight, it was Jaylen Brown doing the majority of the scoring, as he recorded a team-high 32 points, shooting 12/18 from the field and 4/6 from three. Guard Derrick White also had an impressive game, scoring 25 points and contributing five assists in the win.

For the Cavs, once again it was Donovan Mitchell who did the majority of the heavy lifting, scoring 33 points in the loss.

Game two will take place Thursday night in Boston.
