This week in the EPL was certainly one for the books. Some teams were triumphant, while others faltered and continued their poor form.
Liverpool, who are currently leading the race, were on the verge of a draw, but a stunning stoppage-time goal from Darwin Núñez secured them a 2-0 win against Brentford. Arsenal were seeking a much-needed win to stay firm in the race but settled for a 2-2 draw against Aston Villa. Manchester United continued their poor form under new management with a 3-1 loss to Brighton. Meanwhile, Manchester City bounced back from a rocky few weeks with a commanding 6-0 win against Ipswich Town. Chelsea, on the other hand, had a decent 3-1 victory over Wolves.
Next week, the action will return with all eyes on Manchester City vs. Chelsea. City will aim to break into the top four, while Chelsea will look to create pressure for the third spot on the table.
