The third matchweek of the EPL has come to an end, with the highlights being Liverpool vs. Arsenal and Manchester United vs. Burnley.
The week started off with Chelsea beating Fulham 2-0. Everton had a close match against Wolves, edging them out 3-2. Tottenham suffered their first loss of the season against Bournemouth. Manchester United finally returned to winning ways with a stoppage-time penalty, beating Burnley 3-2. Manchester City continued their poor form from last season, losing to Brighton.
The main match of the week saw Liverpool win 1-0 against last season’s runners-up, Arsenal. Arteta’s men managed only one shot on target throughout the match and will need to address the gaps in their squad.
Now, the international break comes into play, with EPL matches set to resume on September 13th. The highlight of the upcoming fixtures will be the Manchester Derby between Manchester United and Manchester City.
