The Dallas Mavericks are now one win away from heading back to the NBA finals for the first time since 2011 after their 116-107 win against the Minnesota Timberwolves Sunday night in Dallas.
It was all about the backcourt tonight, as both Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving scored 33 points, with Doncic adding seven rebounds and five assists. The duo are the first starting backcourt to each have at least 30 points in the same game at least three times in a single post-season in the last 50 years. P.J. Washington had a big night, scoring 16 points, including a massive three-pointer in the fourth.
The Mavericks will look to complete the sweep Tuesday night in Dallas.
