Raptors with a Nice Win Against Utah Jazz

The Toronto Raptors responded exactly the way they needed to Monday night, bouncing back with a convincing 143 to 125 win over the Utah Jazz on March 23, 2026 at Delta Center in Salt Lake City.

After the disappointing loss in Phoenix the night before, this game felt like a reset. The Raptors came out focused, pushed the pace offensively, and never really allowed Utah to take control.

Utah actually started the night with a bit of momentum, briefly grabbing the early lead in the first quarter. Toronto quickly settled in and began taking advantage of Utah’s depleted lineup. By the time the third quarter rolled around, the Raptors offense completely exploded.

Toronto dominated the third quarter, outscoring the Jazz 49 to 24 and essentially putting the game out of reach. The Raptors had already piled up 117 points by the end of the third period, which marked a franchise record for points through three quarters.

The offense was clicking everywhere.

Sandro Mamukelashvili delivered one of his most productive performances of the season and helped spark the explosive third quarter run. Jamal Shead also played a strong role in the offense, helping keep the ball moving and finding open teammates as the Raptors piled up assists throughout the game.

Toronto ended the night with six different players scoring in double figures and moved the ball extremely well, recording an impressive number of assists as the offense flowed possession after possession.

Utah still had a standout performance despite the loss. Rookie Ace Bailey was outstanding for the Jazz, pouring in 37 points and doing everything he could to keep his team competitive. Kennedy Chandler also impressed with 13 points while adding 9 assists, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals in a very active performance.

Toronto also created offense by forcing mistakes. The Raptors turned Utah turnovers into transition opportunities and scored heavily on the fast break. That aggressive style helped them maintain control throughout the night.

A Much Needed Bounce Back

This game came at the perfect time for Toronto.

Coming off the rough loss in Phoenix, the Raptors needed a response. They got exactly that with one of their highest scoring performances of the season.

Games like this are important late in the year, especially when momentum can swing quickly during the final stretch of the regular season.

Where the Raptors Stand in the East

With the win, Toronto improves to 40 wins and 31 losses on the season. The Raptors remain firmly in the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference.

First place in the East is still a long shot. Teams like Boston and Milwaukee have held the top spots for most of the season and remain several games ahead in the standings.

For Toronto to realistically climb that high, they would need a strong winning streak combined with losses from those top teams down the stretch.

The more realistic focus is improving playoff seeding and entering the postseason with confidence and momentum.

What Needs To Happen

The Raptors showed in this game how dangerous they can be when the offense is flowing.

Balanced scoring is key. When multiple players are contributing and the ball movement is strong, the Raptors become very difficult to defend.

Consistent production from Scottie Barnes, RJ Barrett, Brandon Ingram, and Immanuel Quickley will remain crucial as the season winds down. Interior play and energy from players like Jakob Poeltl and Sandro Mamukelashvili also give the team another layer offensively.

The playoffs are getting closer and every win matters now.

Toronto showed in Utah that this team still has another gear when everything clicks.

👏 Let’s Go Raptors 👏
