This week’s EPL action helped establish where many teams stand as the season begins to take shape.
Chelsea beat Burnley 2–0 to continue their fine form. On the other hand, reigning champions Liverpool extended their poor run with a 3–0 loss against Nottingham Forest. Manchester City dropped points with a defeat to Newcastle. Everton shocked everyone with a 1–0 victory over Manchester United, despite going down to 10 men after a red card in the 13th minute. League leaders Arsenal continued their winning streak with a dominant 4–1 thrashing of their North London rivals, Tottenham.
Next week, all eyes will be on another London derby: Arsenal vs. Chelsea.
