Czech rising star Linda Nosková captured her first Grand Slam singles title by defeating fellow Czech Karolína Muchová in a thrilling Wimbledon final

Linda Nosková def. Karolína Muchová 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 

Nosková dominated the opening set with powerful baseline hitting before Muchová battled back to steal the second set after saving multiple match points. In the deciding set, the 21-year-old Nosková regained control with aggressive returning and composed serving to seal the biggest victory of her career. 

The victory makes Nosková the 2026 Wimbledon Ladies’ Singles Champion and marks her first major championship, capping an impressive fortnight on the grass courts of the All England Club.
