Recap: In a high-scoring thriller, the Alouettes (4-1) held off a late comeback attempt by Vernon Adams Jr. and the Stampeders (2-3). Montreal’s backup quarterback Davis Alexander enjoyed a highly efficient 300-yard passing night, finding Tyson Philpot 9 times for 132 yards and a touchdown. Second-year running back Travis Theis also chipped in heavily on the ground with 94 rushing yards and a score.
