Curaçao captured the 2026 Little League Baseball World Series championship on Sunday in Williamsport, defeating Mountain 11–2 in the final. It was a dominant international performance that capped Curaçao’s run through the tournament.
Curaçao takes control
Curaçao’s offense broke the championship open and never allowed Mountain to recover. After reaching the final by beating Japan 4–0 in the International Championship, Curaçao carried that momentum straight into the title game.
Mountain’s run
Mountain, representing Henderson, Nevada, had an impressive tournament. The team won the U.S. championship 12–2 over Great Lakes to earn its place in the World Series final.
Mountain had also produced one of the tournament’s biggest offensive explosions, scoring nine runs in the sixth inning of its semifinal victory.
