WWE and AAA collide once again this weekend as stars from WWE, NXT and Lucha Libre AAA come together for a loaded Worlds Collide card in the Chicago area. The event features eight announced matches and a special appearance by Oba Femi.
The show also takes place on the same night as AEW All Out in the Chicago area, creating an unusual night of major professional wrestling competition.
Main Event
CM Punk, Rey Mysterio & El Grande Americano vs. Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh & Omos
The headline attraction brings together three major WWE/AAA personalities.
CM Punk returns to his hometown area alongside WWE Hall of Famer and AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio and newly crowned AAA Mega Champion El Grande Americano.
Across the ring are Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh and Omos.
The match has additional significance following TripleMania 34, where Americano defeated Dominik Mysterio to capture the AAA Mega Championship.
Expect the Mysterio family storyline, Punk’s Chicago connection and Americano’s new championship status to drive much of the attention.
AAA Reina de Reinas Championship
La Catalina (c) vs. Roxanne Perez
One of the night’s biggest championship matches sees La Catalina make her first defense of the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship against Roxanne Perez.
Catalina recently ended Flammer’s lengthy reign to capture the championship, while Perez earned her title opportunity in a four-way match at TripleMania.

This is also an intriguing WWE-versus-AAA matchup because of the contrasting wrestling backgrounds of the two competitors.
Penta & Rey Fenix vs. Los Perros del Mal
Penta & Rey Fenix vs. Daga & Berto
The Lucha Brothers reunite for a high-speed tag-team battle against Daga and Berto.
Penta and Fenix bring years of experience as a team, while Los Perros del Mal represent AAA’s aggressive faction-based lucha style.
This could be one of the fastest-paced matches on the card.
AAA Cruiserweight Championship No. 1 Contender’s Match
Axiom vs. Mini Vikingo vs. Je’Von Evans vs. E.K. Prosper
Four talented competitors will battle for an opportunity at the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship, currently held by Rey Fenix.
Axiom brings technical precision and aerial ability, Mini Vikingo represents AAA’s lucha tradition, and Je’Von Evans has established himself as one of NXT’s explosive young performers.
With a future championship opportunity at stake, expect this match to feature plenty of high-risk offense.
Las Tóxicas vs. Fatal Influence
Flammer, La Hiedra & Lady Maravilla vs. Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid
AAA’s Las Tóxicas collide with WWE’s Fatal Influence in a six-woman tag-team match.
The match gives the AAA women’s roster another opportunity to showcase its style against established WWE competitors.
Dragon Lee vs. Jack Cartwheel
This singles match has the potential to be an athletic showcase.
Dragon Lee has extensive experience competing in lucha libre and WWE, while Jack Cartwheel has built his reputation around spectacular aerial offense.
The key will be whether Dragon Lee can combine his technical wrestling with his high-flying ability while limiting Cartwheel’s opportunities to create chaos.
Relevos Atómicos de Locura
Mr. Iguana, La Parka, Adelicious & Mascarita Sagrada
vs. Mini Abismo Negro, Brad Baylor, Ricky Smokes & Myka Lockwood
This eight-person contest brings a distinctly AAA flavor to Worlds Collide.
Mr. Iguana, La Parka and Mascarita Sagrada are among the most recognizable AAA personalities involved, while the opposing team combines AAA and WWE talent.
Expect this one to be less conventional than the singles matches and tag bouts, with the lucha libre presentation taking center stage.
Special Appearance: Oba Femi
Oba Femi is scheduled to appear at Worlds Collide, although he does not currently have a match announced.
His presence is particularly interesting given his position as one of WWE’s major young stars. His appearance could provide a bridge between WWE and AAA beyond the announced matches.
