AEW Dynamite was all about the fallout from All In London, with new world champions Will Ospreay and Mercedes Moné appearing with their titles and several major rivalries taking shape.
Will Ospreay Opens the Show
New AEW World Champion Will Ospreay opened Dynamite and reflected on defeating Kenny Omega at All In.
Ospreay praised Omega but made it clear that he now considers himself the standard in AEW. He also told Omega that he would be willing to have another match whenever Omega was ready.
The celebration was interrupted by Ricochet, who demanded the first opportunity at Ospreay’s championship. Gabe Kidd and Clark Connors then joined Ricochet and threatened the new champion.
Ospreay responded by challenging the group to a major main-event fight, setting up a 10-man tag later in the evening.
AEW World Trios Championship
Swerve Strickland & The New Level def. The Rascalz
The newly crowned trios champions Swerve Strickland, Kofi Kingston and Austin Creed made their first title defense against The Rascalz.
The match was fast-paced, with both teams exchanging dives, counters and high-impact offense. The Rascalz came close to taking the titles several times, but Swerve and The New Level survived.
Kofi Kingston ultimately scored the deciding pinfall over Dezmond Xavier after The New Level and Swerve combined for the finish.

Afterward, the Young Bucks appeared on the stage and had a notable face-off with their fellow elite-level tag team, The New Level.
Young Bucks, FTR and the AEW Tag Titles
The Young Bucks addressed their controversial loss to Adam Copeland and Christian Cage at All In.
FTR interrupted and claimed that they were next in line for the AEW World Tag Team Championship. Copeland and Christian then came out, with Copeland acknowledging that their victory over the Bucks had not gone exactly as he wanted.
Copeland proposed a three-way tag-team championship match at All Out involving the champions, The Young Bucks and FTR.
The match is expected to feature tables, ladders and chairs, creating another major attraction for AEW’s next pay-per-view.
Darby Allin Retains the TNT Championship
Darby Allin def. Mark Davis
Before their scheduled TNT Championship match even officially began, Mark Davis attacked Darby Allin and sent him crashing around ringside.
The brutal fight continued through the crowd before eventually making its way into the ring.
Davis dominated large portions of the match, but Allin survived and eventually hit two Coffin Drops to defeat Davis and retain the TNT Championship.
After the match, Roppongi Vice attacked Allin. Steven Borden attempted to make the save, but the situation took another turn when Josh Alexander returned.
Alexander attacked Borden and trapped Allin in an ankle lock alongside Davis, establishing himself as a major new threat to the TNT champion.
Megan Bayne Defeats Alex Windsor
Megan Bayne defeated Alex Windsor with the MegaBomb.
After the match, Divine Dominion attempted to attack Windsor, but Jamie Hayter arrived and chased them away.
Mercedes Moné Championship Celebration
New AEW Women’s World Champion Mercedes Moné celebrated her victory over Willow Nightingale at All In.
Moné showed off her championship and discussed her ambitions for the women’s division.
Her celebration was interrupted by Thekla, who confronted the new champion and immediately established herself as a potential challenger.
The confrontation created the early stages of what could become Moné’s first major feud of her new title reign.
Jon Moxley Defeats AR Fox
Jon Moxley defeated AR Fox in a Continental Championship eliminator match.
Fox produced several impressive sequences and came close to victory, but Moxley eventually put him away with the Death Rider.
The victory kept Moxley moving forward in the Continental Championship picture.
Main Event
United Empire def. The Demand & The Dogs
The main event featured Will Ospreay, Andrade El Idolo, Callum Newman, Francesco Akira and Henare against Ricochet, Gabe Kidd, Clark Connors, Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona.
The bout became a chaotic faction battle, with all ten wrestlers getting involved and the action spilling outside the ring.
Ospreay eventually scored the victory by hitting Hidden Blade on Clark Connors.
Moxley vs. Ospreay Set for All Out
The biggest development came after the main event.
Gabe Kidd attempted to attack Ospreay with a chair, but Jon Moxley intervened. Moxley took the chair away and stood between Kidd and the AEW World Champion.
Moxley then picked up Ospreay’s championship belt and placed it on Ospreay’s shoulder before the announcement appeared on the screen:

The confrontation immediately established Moxley as Ospreay’s first major challenger.
