Jays Even the Series in Wild Game 4 Win Over the Dodgers

Now that’s the kind of game you remember why you love baseball for. The Toronto Blue Jays came out swinging in Game 4 of the World Series and pulled off a massive win over the Los Angeles Dodgers in L.A., tying the series 2-2 and setting up what could be an unforgettable finish back home in Toronto.

After that marathon of Game 3, it felt like both teams were running on fumes (and some of them looked it too), but the Jays showed heart, hustle, and a whole lot of resilience. They didn’t just survive, they dominated when it mattered most.

The Game That Changed Everything

From the very first pitch, Toronto looked like a team that refused to quit. The bats woke up early, the bullpen held strong, and the energy in the dugout was electric. You could feel it through the screen.

And how about that moment in the seventh inning? Bases loaded, pressure mounting, and the Dodgers made that curious call (intentionally walking a batter to move the runner up). It’s a risky move, but technically allowed under MLB’s intentional walk rule that’s been in place since 2017 (where a manager can signal for a walk without pitching). Some fans thought it was connected to the extra-inning runner-on-second rule that started in 2020, but that one only applies to regular-season play, not the postseason. So nope, the Dodgers just rolled the dice, and it backfired beautifully for the Jays.

Moments later, Toronto made them pay.

🚨 Record Book Alert 🚨

Last night’s win wasn’t just emotional, it was historic. The Jays’ offense exploded for double-digit hits again, and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. tied the World Series record for consecutive games with an RBI. Meanwhile, Bo Bichette extended his postseason hitting streak, putting his name alongside some of the game’s greats.

And can we talk about the Jays bullpen? After using practically every arm in that 18-inning Game 3 marathon, they came back fresh and locked down some of the league’s toughest hitters and this is what championship teams are made of!

What It Means Now

The win means everything. The World Series is now tied at 2-2, and momentum has shifted. The boys head into Game 5 still in L.A. before returning to Toronto for Games 6 (and possibly 7). With the crowd expected to be absolutely electric back home, you can already feel the buzz across the city.

If the Jays can grab one more on the road, they’ll have a chance to close it out in front of a packed Rogers Centre, and honestly, that feels like destiny.

From a Long-Time Fan’s Heart

I’ve seen heartbreaks, rebuilds, and almosts, but this team feels different. They’re not just playing for Toronto, they’re playing for the entire country. Canada’s team, back where they belong, battling for the biggest prize in baseball.

Game 4 reminded us why we believe. The grit, the grind, the joy, it’s all there, and with the series now knotted up, you can’t help but dream a little.

Two more wins. One incredible city. Let’s bring it home, Toronto!

👏 Go Jays Go 👏
