The October 6, 2025, episode of Monday Night Raw was held live from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
This week’s Raw focused more on story development than action, but it managed to keep the energy consistent heading toward Crown Jewel. It wasn’t the most explosive episode, yet several key segments hit the mark.
Roman Reigns opened with a confident promo aimed at Bronson Reed, brushing off Reed’s rise as luck and calling him “a big man who doesn’t know how to last.” Reed fired back, leading to a heated brawl that gave their Australian Street Fight extra momentum. It wasn’t revolutionary, but it did what an opening segment should — set the tone and raise the stakes.
AJ Styles delivered one of his best promos in a while. Speaking directly about John Cena, AJ balanced respect with frustration, saying he’s tired of being reminded of their past and done living in Cena’s shadow. It came off as authentic — not bitterness, but hunger. The crowd was split, and that gray area suits AJ perfectly as he hints at a more aggressive edge.
Becky Lynch’s match with Maxxine Dupri gave the women’s division some time, with Becky controlling most of the action before Zoey Stark attacked post-match to keep their feud alive. Meanwhile, the tension between Asuka, Kairi Sane, and Iyo Sky continues to build, with subtle hints that a full breakup isn’t far off.
CM Punk and LA Knight versus The Usos was the night’s highlight. The chemistry between Punk and Knight was uneasy from the start, and Knight tagging himself in to steal the win was classic arrogance. Punk’s silent walkout after the match said everything. The Usos continue to play their role well, selling frustration without overshadowing the main story.
The rest of the show filled out with quick segments featuring The Judgment Day, Sami Zayn, and Chad Gable, keeping things moving without dragging the pace.
Overall, Raw delivered a balanced, story-driven night. AJ Styles’ promo was the emotional standout, Reigns and Reed brought intensity, and the Punk–Knight partnership added intrigue. It wasn’t a blockbuster episode, but it did its job — keeping the stories alive and the road to Crown Jewel interesting.
