South Carolina Beats Iowa For Women’s Title, UConn And Purdue Tonight

The South Carolina Gamecocks beat Caitlin Clark’s Iowa 87-75 on Sunday to win the national championship. With the win and a 38-0 record, the Gamecocks made history by being the 10th undefeated national champions in Division I women’s basketball. South Carolina coach, Dawn Staley has cemented her place as one of the greatest women’s basketball players as well as coaches. As a coach, she won two championships in three years for South Carolina and has three national titles. And, as a player at Virginia, she received two national player of the year awards then won three Olympic gold medals and had six WNBA All-Star appearances.

The men’s game is Monday night with UConn and Purdue battling it out for the title of National Champion.
