Timberwolves avoid sweep in game four win against Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks will have to wait until Thursday night to book their ticket to the NBA finals after coming up short 105-100 against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday in Dallas.

All-star Anthony Edwards had a game high of 29 points and a near triple double with 10 rebounds and nine assists, while big man Karl-Anthony Towns had an impressive shooting night, finishing with 25 points on 69 percent shooting.

The defense was also improved, limiting Luka Doncic to just 33 percent shooting and Kyrie Irving to just 16 points.

The series heads back to Minnesota for game five.
