Towns and Brunson lead Knicks past Raptors

The New York Knicks held off a late comeback attempt to beat the Toronto Raptors 121-115 Tuesday night in Toronto.

The big players showed up for the Knicks, Karl-Anthony Towns scoring 27 points and adding a huge 20 rebounds, while Jalen Brunson scored a game-high 28 points in the win. In fact, everyone in the Knicks starting lineup scored more than 15, including former Raptor Precious Achiuwa, who had 17 points and eight rebounds in the game.

Scottie Barnes had a team-high 23 points, but those 23 points did come on 23 shot attempts as the Knicks made it difficult with good defense throughout the game.

The Raptors drop to 16-34 and get right back in action in Toronto on Wednesday night against another very strong opponent in the Memphis Grizzlies.
