Toronto FC were looking to get back to winning ways at home against Nashville SC at home. They unfortunately dropped 3 points last game and hoped for redemption.
In the first half they started off strong with an attacking mentality. Nashville gave a penalty chance to Toronto but unfortunately missed the chance in the 31’st minute by Bernadeshi. Toronto FC kept pressing and made it 1-0 in the 34th minute from a goal from A.Coello with a right footed shot going past the keeper.
In the second half Nashville SC came back with a goal in the 65’th minute by S.Surridge. Toronto tried to stay on pace as best as possible but did not perform as well as they did in the first half, having fewer shots on goal. Nashville SC scored in the 90th minute for a brace for Surridge and a 2-1 win for Nashville.
Toronto FC will now be on the road for two matches against NY Red Bulls and Atlanta United. They will hope to gain some points and go up in the table.
