The Houston Rockets secured their first win in Toronto since 2019 after a 114-110 victory Sunday night in Toronto.
Canadian Dillon Brooks led the way with a team-high 27 points with six rebounds, while guard Jalen Green had 22 points and six boards in the win. Former Raptor Fred VanVleet struggled, scoring only two points on 1-for-10 shooting from the field.
While Fred VanVleet struggled for the Rockets, Scottie Barnes had an off night for the Raps; the All-Star managed only six points on 2-for-15 shooting. the one positive for the Raptors, rookie Ja’Kobe Walter scored a career-high 27 points in the loss.
It won’t get easier for the Raptors; they look to break the streak Monday night as they travel to New York to battle against the Knicks.
