The first episode of WWE Raw following Night of Champions delivered major developments as WWE began building toward SummerSlam.

The night opened with newly crowned King of the Ring Oba Femi, who addressed the WWE Universe before being interrupted by a shocking return from Brock Lesnar. Their rivalry immediately reignited when Lesnar attacked Femi with an F-5, leading to Raw General Manager Adam Pearce making a blockbuster announcement: Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar inside Hell in a Cell at SummerSlam.

In the ring, Rey Mysterio defeated Ethan Page, while Joe Hendry earned a victory over Austin Theory. Jimmy Uso defeated LA Knight after outside distractions, but the celebration was cut short when Solo Sikoa attacked Jimmy with a devastating Samoan Spike, escalating the Bloodline conflict.

The women’s division also took center stage. Raquel Rodriguez defeated Maxxine Dupri to become the No. 1 contender for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, while IYO SKY, fresh off winning the Queen of the Ring tournament, confronted Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, setting the stage for a marquee SummerSlam rivalry.

Chad Gable submitted JD McDonagh in another strong performance, with the ongoing issues involving Dominik Mysterio and Danhausen adding some chaotic entertainment to the show.

Backstage, WWE announced that Nick Aldis had been placed on administrative leave following his altercation with GUNTHER after Night of Champions. As a result, Adam Pearce will temporarily oversee both Raw and SmackDown.

The show closed with the return of Roman Reigns, who stood alongside Jacob Fatu as new challenges began to emerge in the aftermath of Night of Champions. With SummerSlam on the horizon, WWE established several major storylines, highlighted by Lesnar vs. Oba Femi inside Hell in a Cell and the growing tension surrounding the Bloodline.
