Match results and major moments
The October 19 edition of WWE Monday Night Raw aired from Pechanga Arena in San Diego, California, with the road to Crown Jewel intensifying.
Penta defeats Bron Breakker
Penta scored a major victory over Breakker with help from Je’Von Evans.
The result strengthened Penta’s position as Mr. Money in the Bank and added another layer to his rivalry with Breakker.
2. Chelsea Green and IYO SKY defeat Judgment Day
Green and SKY defeated Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez.
The victory gave the winning duo momentum while continuing the tension surrounding Judgment Day.
3. JD McDonagh defeats Joe Hendry
McDonagh picked up the victory with assistance from Dominik Mysterio.
The result rewarded Judgment Day’s tactics after Hendry had spent recent weeks getting under McDonagh’s skin.
4. Lola Vice defeats Lyra Valkyria
Vice secured the win following interference from Bayley.
The aftermath set up a No Disqualification Match between Bayley and Valkyria for the following week, giving their rivalry a more personal edge.
5. Chad Gable retains the Intercontinental Championship
Gable successfully defended his title against Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee in a Triple Threat Match.
Afterward, Ethan Page and Colin Cassady attacked, creating a fresh threat around the championship picture.
The biggest storyline development came when World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns confronted WWE Champion Sami Zayn.
The segment initially featured a friendly reunion, with the two men acknowledging the pressure and responsibilities that come with being champions.
Their tone quickly changed when they began debating the relative importance of their championships.
Reigns questioned whether Zayn was motivated by loyalty or personal ambition.
Zayn responded that he was now serving himself as champion.
Reigns then cast doubt on whether Zayn would still hold his championship by Crown Jewel.
The confrontation raised the stakes for their upcoming champion-versus-champion showdown.
Penta also reminded both men that he possesses the Money in the Bank contract, keeping the possibility of a championship cash-in in the background.
The Bloodline versus The 946
The ongoing war between The Bloodline and Royce Keys’ 946 faction continued to dominate the show.
Following Carmelo Hayes’ shocking alliance with The 946 last week, the faction’s numbers and confidence have grown.
The two groups once again descended into chaos, with Roman Reigns and members of The Bloodline standing their ground against their rivals.
The closing brawl reinforced the message that neither faction intends to back down.
The escalating conflict now threatens to become one of Raw’s central rivalries heading into Crown Jewel.
