The Atlanta Hawks took a controlling 136-107 win over the Toronto Raptors Sunday night in Toronto.
Trae Young had an impressive double-double performance as he continues his bid for a fourth All-Star appearance. Young had 34 points with 10 assists and shot 7-for-13 from three. Off the bench, De’Andre Hunter scored 22 points in what was an all-around effort from the Hawks in the win.
Nobody scored 20 for the Raptors; the closest they got was Scottie Barnes, who had 19, adding eight rebounds in the loss.
This is the 10th straight loss for the Raptors; they now drop to 7-25, sitting 14th in the East, only ahead of the Washington Wizards.
If they want to break the streak, they’re going to have to do it against the defending champs as they travel to Boston to take on the Celtics on New Year’s Eve.
