The Boston Celtics are NBA champions once again. A 106-88 win over the Dallas Mavericks in game five secured the franchise’s 18th title.
It was a dominating run for Boston, beating both the Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers in five games, then sweeping the Pacers before a five-game series win over the Mavs.
Jayson Tatum finished in style, scoring a game-high 31 points, while his running mate Jaylen Brown scored 21. Jrue Holiday had an impressive double-double, scoring 15 points and grabbing 11 rebounds.
