The Boston Celtics are NBA champions once again. A 106-88 win over the Dallas Mavericks in game five secured the franchise’s 18th title.

It was a dominating run for Boston, beating both the Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers in five games, then sweeping the Pacers before a five-game series win over the Mavs.

Jayson Tatum finished in style, scoring a game-high 31 points, while his running mate Jaylen Brown scored 21. Jrue Holiday had an impressive double-double, scoring 15 points and grabbing 11 rebounds.

Head Coach Joe Mazzulla wins his first ring in just his second season with the club.
