The New York Knicks defeated the Toronto Raptors Wednesday night in New York with a 112-98 victory.
Former Raptor OG Anunoby and Karl-Anthony Towns each had 27 points, the latter also securing a double-double with 13 rebounds. Josh Hart also filled the stat sheet; he had 21 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists, while Jalen Brunson had somewhat of a quiet night; he ended up with 13 points.
The Raptors were led by former Knick Immanuel Quickley; he scored a team-high 22 points, while Scottie Barnes put up 18 on five rebounds and five assists.
The Raptors now sit 14th in the East; they slide to 8-29 on the season, and they will travel to Cleveland to face the Cavaliers on the second night of a back-to-back. The Cavs are riding an 11-game win streak and are riding high off beating the West’s best team, the Oklahoma City Thunder.
