Scheffler’s statement week
After tying the TPC Southwind course record with a 61 on Friday, Scheffler took control of the tournament and never gave the field a realistic chance on Sunday. He entered the final round with a two-shot advantage and quickly pulled away.
The $20-million purse included a $3.6-million winner’s prize and 750 FedExCup points.
