AEW Collision became an emotional night of wrestling and remembrance as All Elite Wrestling honored Andy “The Butcher” Williams, who died September 5 at age 48.
The show opened with a ten-bell salute, while wrestlers and AEW personalities—including Brody King, Colt Cabana, Jeff Jarrett, Penelope Ford and Kip Sabian—shared memories of Williams.
Williams, a former AEW wrestler and guitarist for Every Time I Die, made his AEW debut in 2019 and became one of the company’s most recognizable powerhouse performers. AEW noted that he holds the company’s all-time record for battle-royal eliminations with 26.
Jon Moxley def. “Speedball” Mike Bailey
AEW Continental Championship Eliminator
Jon Moxley continued his aggressive run toward the Continental Championship picture, defeating Mike Bailey in a hard-fought eliminator.
Bailey’s speed and athleticism created problems for Moxley, but the former AEW World Champion’s physical style eventually took over. Moxley survived Bailey’s offense and secured the victory, keeping himself firmly in the championship conversation.
Queen Aminata def. Mina Shirakawa
With Mercedes Moné on commentary, Queen Aminata scored an important singles victory over Mina Shirakawa.
The match featured competitive exchanges throughout, with Aminata ultimately finding the opening she needed to put Shirakawa away. Moné’s presence added another layer to the women’s division storyline.
The Rascalz def. Solo, Garrison & Comoroto.
Zachary Wentz, Myron Reed and Dezmond Xavier showcased their trademark speed and teamwork against Aaron Solo, Griff Garrison and Nick Comoroto.
The Rascalz controlled the pace with quick tags and explosive offense before securing the victory.
Jay White def. Adam Priest
Jay White continued his momentum with a singles victory over Adam Priest.
White’s experience and ring positioning proved decisive, while the presence of Juice Robinson and the Bang Bang Gang added another dimension to the match.
PAC & The Dogs def. Bang Bang Gang
PAC, Gabe Kidd, David Finlay and Clark Connors defeated Juice Robinson, Ace Austin, Austin Gunn and Colten Gunn in a chaotic eight-man tag team encounter.
The victory was particularly significant for The Dogs, who remain embroiled in a larger confrontation involving Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay. Earlier in the night, The Dogs confronted Gabe Kidd over his failure to take action against Ospreay.
The Butcher Battle Royal
The evening’s most significant symbolic contest was the 12-man Butcher Battle Royal, created as a tribute to Williams and his reputation as one of AEW’s greatest battle-royal specialists.
AEW announced that $100,000 would be donated to a charity selected by the winner in Andy Williams’ name, making the match about much more than victory and defeat.
