September 28, 2026 — Professional wrestling is mourning the loss of PAC, the high-flying star whose real name was Benjamin Satterley, following confirmation of his death at age 40 by All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
Satterley, a native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, began his professional wrestling career in 2004 and became internationally recognized for his high-flying, athletic style.
He joined WWE in 2012, where he competed as Adrian Neville before shortening the name to Neville.
WWE career
As Neville, Satterley became an important figure in WWE’s NXT and Cruiserweight divisions. His accomplishments included:

He departed WWE in 2018 and subsequently returned to the PAC name.
AEW career
PAC was among AEW’s early major signings in 2019. He became the inaugural AEW All-Atlantic Champion, a championship later renamed the International Championship, and was a two-time AEW World Trios Champion.
His final match came at AEW All Out on September 26, where he challenged Andrade El Ídolo for the AEW National Championship in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Andrade retained the championship
Cause of death
A cause of death has not been officially announced. AEW did not provide one in its announcement.
Reports citing the Cook County medical examiner indicate there were no initial indications of foul play or trauma, while an autopsy was pending.
