Bronson Scores Playoff Record, Nuggets Eliminate Lakers, Travis Kelce’s $34.25 Mill Contract Extension, Tom Brady Roasted

BASKETBALL

A few highlights from the NBA playoffs:

The NY Knicks Jalen Bronson scored a playoff-record 47 points in a 97-92 win over the Philadelphia 76ers. The Knicks are now up 3-1 in the series.

Jamal Murray hit the game winner for the Denver Nuggets in Game 5 to eliminate the LA Lakers. Murray also hit the game winner in Game 2 of the series and is the only player to hit two game-winners in the final five seconds in the same series.

FOOTBALL

Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs agreed to a two-year extension worth an extra $34.25 million. The deal makes Kelce the highest-paid tight end in the NFL.

Tom Brady will be the subject of a “live and uncensored”  roast on Netflix Sunday May 5th at 8:00 pm. Kevin Hart will host the all-star lineup of surprise roasters.
