Canada moves to 2-0 in men’s basketball after win against Australia

Canada have all but qualified from group play after a 93-83 win over Australia Tuesday night in Lille. 

Toronto Raptors RJ Barett scored a game-high 24 points in the win, adding seven rebounds and five assists. Oklahoma City Thunder duo Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Luguentz Dort each had three steals, with the former scoring 16 points. 

Josh Giddey continued his impressive Olympic campaign, leading the Aussies with 19 points. Australia, with the loss, moves to 1-1. 

Canada takes on Spain on Friday, looking to make it a perfect 3-0.
