Canada celebrated its return to home soil following its historic 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign with a 1–0 victory over Chile at BMO Field.
The match was Canada’s first home international since the World Cup and the opening game of the September–October international window. Canada Soccer had billed the contest as part of its “Homecoming” series.
