Week 13 produced four important games, including a huge Winnipeg upset, a Saskatchewan comeback against Toronto and another dominant performance from B.C.

Montreal Alouettes 28, Winnipeg Blue Bombers 44

The biggest surprise of the week came in Winnipeg, where the Blue Bombers stunned the CFL-leading Alouettes 44–28. Montreal entered the game at 9–1, but Winnipeg’s offense controlled the night and handed the Als only their second loss of the season.

Takeaway: Winnipeg suddenly looks like a much more dangerous playoff contender.

Saskatchewan Roughriders 28, Toronto Argonauts 24

The Roughriders rallied to defeat the Argonauts 28–24 in Regina. Toronto jumped out in front, but Saskatchewan fought back and made the critical plays down the stretch. Trevor Harris threw for 316 yards, while Saskatchewan’s special teams and late-game execution proved decisive.

Argos takeaway: Toronto’s 5–6 record leaves little margin for error in the East playoff race.

Calgary Stampeders 28, Hamilton Tiger-Cats 23

Calgary snapped its losing streak with a dramatic 28–23 victory over Hamilton. The game was tied late before Dedrick Mills broke loose for a 49-yard touchdown with just 29 seconds remaining.

Takeaway: Calgary kept its playoff hopes alive with a clutch fourth-quarter finish.

B.C. Lions 45, Ottawa Redblacks 24

Zander Horvath was the star of the week, rushing for 164 yards and four touchdowns as B.C. rolled past Ottawa 45–24. The Lions won their fifth straight game, improving to 6–5, while Ottawa remained winless at 0–11.

Takeaway: B.C. has transformed its season and is firmly back in the West playoff race.
