Montreal 37, Hamilton 25

The Montreal Alouettes continued their strong season with a 37–25 victory over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Friday night.

Montreal raced to a 34–3 lead before Hamilton mounted a late comeback.

Quarterback Davis Alexander threw two touchdown passes, while the Alouettes’ defense forced four Hamilton interceptions.

The victory moved Montreal to 11–3, while Hamilton fell to 4–10.

Toronto 24, Edmonton 19

The biggest playoff story of the week came at BMO Field, where the Toronto Argonauts defeated the Edmonton Elks 24–19.

Dymere Miller caught three passes for 90 yards and a touchdown, while Kevin Mital added four receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown.

The Argos also received a crucial defensive contribution from Ralph Holley, who recovered a fumble for a touchdown.

The victory improved Toronto to 8–6 and officially clinched a playoff berth. Toronto also remained unbeaten at home at 4–0.

For Edmonton, the defeat dropped the Elks to 10–4, although they had already secured their playoff spot in Week 15.

Calgary improved to 6–8, while Ottawa remained winless at 0–13.
