Game Preview: Leafs and Bruins get set for game three

The best-of-seven series between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins shifts to Toronto tonight for game three at Scotiabank Arena.

Toronto won game two Monday night 3-2, tying their series at 1-1. 

Auston Matthews will look to continue his dominance from Monday night after collecting one goal and two assists.

Mitch Marner has been held pointless in his last two games. Marner hasn’t had a playoff point since game four against the Florida Panthers last season.

William Nylander will be a game-time decision. Sheldon Keefe said, “There’s a chance” he will play tonight, depending on how he feels after doing extra work at the morning skate.

James Van Riemsdyk could be in the lineup for the Boston Bruins as he was on the Bruins’s first power-play unit at the morning skate. 

Mason Lohrei will draw into the Bruins lineup tonight after it was announced Andrew Peeke is out with a finger injury.

Jeremy Swayman is the expected starting goalie for the Boston Bruins.

Ilya Samsonov will be the starting goalie for the Maple Leafs.

The puck drop is at 7:00p.m on Sportsnet/CBC.
