Game Preview: Marner returns to the lineup as Leafs face Canadiens

The Toronto Maple Leafs (43-23-9) get set for an original six-matchup tonight when they vs. The Montreal Canadiens (29-34-12). 

This meeting will be the last one of the season between Montreal and Toronto. The Leafs have won both games.

Auston Matthews is on a three-game goal streak.

Mitch Marner will return to the lineup after suffering a high ankle sprain.

William Nylander has 95 points on the season. He needs five more points to be the first Maple Leafs winger in club history to reach 100.

The Leafs are 5-4-1 in their last 10 games.

Montreal captain Nick Suzuki has eight points in his last six games. 

Cole Caufield will look to extend his goal streak to three games.

Sam Montembeault will start in the net for Montreal. 

Ilya Samsonov is the starter for Toronto.

The puck drop is at 7:00 p.m. on Sportsnet and CBC.
